'Crust & Ember Pizzeria began with a simple dream: to bring true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Harrison family in the mid-1980s, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run place with recipes passed down through generations.

'James Harrison', our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making while traveling across Italy, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Upon returning to the UK, she was determined to recreate the magic of real Italian pizza, using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.

What began as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has grown into a cherished local staple, yet our commitment to quality and authenticity has never wavered. We still employ wood-fired oven techniques, prepare our dough fresh daily, and source the best ingredients available.

Today, 'Crust & Ember Pizzeria' remains family-owned and operated, with the second generation of the Harrison family now leading our passionate team. While we’ve adopted some modern innovations, the core of our business remains unchanged: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
